According to reports, a good guy with a gun took down a shooter at an Oklahoma City restaurant on Thursday.
Police reported that “A man walked into the Louie’s restaurant and opened fire with a gun. Two people were shot. A bystander with a pistol confronted the shooter outside the restaurant and fatally shot him.”
The shooter’s motivation for the attack is not yet known and his identity has been kept concealed at the time of this report.
Police Capt. Bo Mathews reported that an adult woman and a child were shot when the man walked into the restaurant and opened fire. Also, a man broke a bone on his way running out of the restaurant. A fourth victim reportedly suffered a minor injury.
Police officials say at two people were rushed to the hospital, and are expected to survive. All of the injured victims are expected to fully recover.
⚠️ ALERT: The only confirmed fatality is the suspect. He was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen. Three citizens were injured, two of whom were shot. A large number of witnesses are detained. There is no indication of terrorismat this point.
All nearby roads were blocked off and shut down. Drivers were asked to avoid the area as video from the scene showed a large police presence.
Early reports indicate over 100 witnesses in total were detained and interviewed.
Police Capt. Matthews says the shooting appeared to be a random act and “there is no indication of terrorism at this point.” A family reunification center has been placed at 3333 West Hefner Road, police announced.
There you have it, folks. A GOOD guy with a gun stopped a BAD guy with a gun from murdering several innocent people. Just more proof that gun control IS NOT the answer to gun violence. Taking the guns from law-abiding citizens will only make them victims.

Since the day Nikolas Cruz walked into Stoneman Douglas high school in Broward County Florida, and began murdering his fellow classmates, the nuts on the left have been screaming non-stop for GUN CONTROL! They’ve come up will all sorts of hair-brained ideas to end school shootings, all of which would do absolutely NOTHING to end gun violence in our schools.

What’s even worse is the confessed mass shooter had no criminal record despite receiving dozens of disciplinary infractions. However, there was a case the Broward County school administrators should have acted upon by sending him before a judge. The only problem was they didn’t do it. Nope, the Broward County school administrators buried his dangerous behavior so he would not face any criminal charges. That way his school record remained untarnished.
I bet you’re wondering what he did to get such a pass, right? Well, after trashing a middle-school bathroom in 2013, Cruz got a three-day referral to the newly created diversion program called Promise. This program was designed to help kids who had committed misdemeanors avoid arrest and stay out of the school-to-prison pipeline. Well, on the surface that doesn’t sound like a bad plan, but just because it has a fancy name doesn’t mean it did anything positive.
The only problem was Cruz never showed up. When that happened the school, policy dictated he should have been hauled before Judge Elijah Williams of the Broward County Delinquency Division. Unfortunately, there is NO record it ever happened. This is based on records released by the district according to Timothy Sternberg, a former assistant principal who helped run Promise from 2014 through 2017. In a report in the Washington Times, Mr. Sternberg stated: “There’s possible negligence here if no one ever followed up.” Wow, why have a program to help troubled teens if you’re not going to follow up on each case?
Since the Feb. 14, 2018 school massacre in Parkland, Florida, we've learned the Broward County officials not only didn't stop a student like Cruz from walking into that school and murdering helpless students but more importantly, they enabled it by creating a lax disciplinary climate. Then to make matters worse we've learned the reason they didn't enforce the rules through suspensions, expulsions, or even arrests, was the Broward County officials didn't want to have bad numbers for the Promise program, thus cutting off its funding. Of course, by doing that it left the door wide open for a young man with some serious issues such Nikolas Cruz to act out for years without serious consequences.
So, as the Liberal Snowflakes demand a ban on Assault Rifles, all of which is a stupid lie because there is NO SUCH THING AS AN ASSAULT RIFLE. AR does not mean Assault Rifle. If someone is going to demand gun bans, maybe they should educate themselves BEFORE they shoot off their stupid mouths.
Every day, I pray I won’t turn on my television and see a report of another screwed up teenager trying to get their fifteen minutes of fame by shooting up a school. I also wish the gun-grabbers would understand that fewer people die each year by gun violence than in other ways. Heck, if our elected officials want to protect our children, maybe we shouldn’t allow them to drive until they are at least 18-years-old?
More of our teens die in auto accidents because of texting each year than by gun violence. In fact, nearly 390,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving. That means that 1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting while driving.
To make it worse, from Jan. 1, 2018 through March 16, 2018, there have already been 2,216 deaths from texting while driving.
Compare that to the number of children dying from gun deaths. A recent study found that nearly 1,300children died as a result of a gun from 2012 to 2014. That’s over a 2-year span! Do the math, and you’ll see that each year we lose more of our children to texting and driving.
Here is a YouTube video from 2011 talking about the dangers of texting and driving. That's seven years ago! Where is the outrage? Where are the marches about the dangers of cell phones? When are they going to demand cell phones be banned? The silence is deafening.
As a proud American, I fully support our second amendment. Also, as the proud mother of a police officer, I support our Law Enforcement officers. However, I must say I was upset to learn the cowardly Broward County officer, Scot Peterson, who hid outside during the Stoneman Douglas high school slaughter is going to receive a nice little retirement pension of $8,702.35 each month!
The coward of broward, Scot Peterson is getting over $8k a month pension! He hid while my daughter and 16 others were slaughtered! How in the hell is he getting this?
I'm sorry, but if I were a citizen of Broward County, I'd be PISSED!! As far as I'm concerned, he should have lost his pension for not at least trying to save those students.
So, where does this leave us, my Patriot friends? We all know those on the left will never stop trying to destroy the second amendment. Heck, there are even those running for political office who actually say that is their goal. We are facing difficult times ahead. With the electing of Donald Trump as President, the socialist/communists are going to continue to destroy our constitution, but with much more urgency. They know their days of power are numbered as more Americans wake up and see how their freedom has been slowly chiseled away over the years.
We are hanging by a thin thread. If we don't get out and vote at ALL levels of government we may soon find ourselves captives in our own country. Did you know more mass murders have been accomplished with automatic handguns, NOT assault rifles? Has anyone stopped to think that the reason our government doesn’t want us to have these guns (assault rifles) is that those who have them stand a chance if the government was to take over? The one thing our Constitution writers feared after a tyrannical King George??? The Revolutionary War would have ended very differently if Cobbler Stephan and Farmer Brown didn’t band together and fight with their own weapons.
Think about this: Our 2nd Amendment in the Bill of Rights is this: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Break it down… To have a well-regulated Militia (A military force that is raised from the civil population to supplement a regular army in an emergency), a group that is necessary to secure the freedoms of an individual State, the citizens have the right to bear arms, own arms, hold arms, buy arms, and this shall not be taken away.
ALRIGHT, so how would a state, in an Emergency crisis raise a Militia to support military if its citizens did not have the right to own weapons of military caliber? Have we ever needed this? I guess not. Should we prepare for it? YES. The American government has changed. The American people have changed. This country was founded on Freedoms, and maybe many of you have forgotten what that means, but it doesn’t mean demanding the government wipe your ass and feed your kids.
People built houses, they built businesses, they built farms, and they provided and worked for their livelihood. They were proud people who wanted the government to honestly just leave them alone. NOW, American’s want the government to coddle them, give them a backrub and tuck them into bed. We don’t need this. Our current American Government has WAY too much power and we just keep giving it to them. You scream freedoms while our very basic ones are being ripped from our hands and you don’t even realize it.
We are The United States of America… Think about this and say it slow: The…. United…. States…. Of…. America….
What are we? United States… 50 individual different entities UNITED to defend each other. We are not America, We are Texas, Rhode Island, Ohio, Wisconsin, Oregon, New Mexico etc… And when the crap hits the fan we band together and blow the people who decided they are stronger than us… (Remember A Bug’s Life? When the grasshopper says “Those puny little ants outnumber us a hundred to one and if they ever figure that out there goes our way of life! It's not about food, it's about keeping those ants in line.”) Don’t you see? Americans in this Republic outnumber these Politicians more than a hundred to one, thousands to one. Hundreds of thousands to one. And yet here we go, letting them decide what our freedoms really are. Maybe we need to remind our Government what their rights actually are, the Constitution lines that out very well, very clear, short and sweet.
Here are my Rights according to MY Bill of Rights…
I cannot be stopped from exercising freely my established religion by Congress EVER, nor can CONGRESS EVER stop me from saying my beliefs or opinions, printing my beliefs or opinions, assembling my friends on my beliefs and opinions even if my beliefs and opinions are petitions against the United States Of America Government or grievances.
I can own and buy a weapon, a gun, with no regulation on military uses so that when it comes time for a rise in an emergency I shall be prepared to stand with my brothers and sisters.
I have a right to have a private and peaceful home where the government will NOT house their soldiers at any time during any unrest. (Not really useful for today, no red-coats around, however, I cannot be forced into it by MY RIGHTS)
I have a right to keep my home to myself without allowing any persons not invited into my home for unreasonable reasons of search unless they have probable cause by law to believe I am holding or conducting in illegal activity. In that belief, proper paperwork for them to locate said item in exact location must be in hand.
I cannot be held in jail for a capital crime or absolutely horrible crime without first being indicted in front of a grand jury. I also cannot be tried of the same offense twice, nor can my life, liberty or property be taken from me without the true and proper process of the law. I cannot and do not have to EVER be a witness against myself, nor can anyone take my personal property for public use without compensation.
I cannot be tried for an accusation or crime slowly. I will be placed in front of impartial peers (which you can’t do know with this media anymore) in my state, in front of my accusers, with able lawyers who can find witnesses in my favor.
If I have an issue before a court and the monetary value is more than 20 dollars, I have the right to bring it to a trial, as well as if the allegations against me are over 20 dollars.
You cannot hold me in jail or obnoxious amounts of money, fees, nor can you expose me to harsh punishments.
My Rights will not be construed or changed to fit your agenda and change what I can and cannot do for I am a citizen of this country.
Anything else I must abide to shall be determined BY THE STATES IF NOT OUTLINED by the Constitution for the Federal Government.
All of these were written after a tyrannical King George tried to oppress and take away the freedoms of the Colonists; They tried to tell them what they could and could not read, write, protest about. The British Redcoats fought against Militia men, defending their homes, these men needed weapons of the same caliber to even have a chance. They would have the enemy sleeping in a room in their home, using their belongings without choice. Colonists were jail, held for no reason, without trial by jury, without their peers, in other states, even countries, sometimes doubly tried, or kept in jail due to a fee imposed the government knew they couldn’t pay. The British Government would twist rules to fit their agenda, and this will not happen here. And lastly and most important is the point of LESS GOVERNMENT. The President isn’t king, he is a man, all other ability is to be left to the states.
May the individual states rise again, may our rights and freedoms rise again… And may we band together against this current American Government who thinks it’s a Dictatorship, who needs to be reminded this is a Republic, ruled By the People & For The People.
